Nature Quest

for grades fifth to tenth

Nature Quest is a program for those who want to learn about and care for our environment by participating in fun and interesting activities. Some of these may include field trips to go hiking and canoeing, exploring local ecosystems, observing live animal, restoring native habitats, as well as hands-on nature and wood working projects. After exploring different ecosystems in the region and on the school’s 55-acre campus, participants can investigate their discoveries in the environmental science lab. They will also learn practical ways to conserve energy and resources to discover and understand we can all make a difference in the world. Swim breaks and other water activities provide an ideal balance between fun, learning and service.
