Future Engineers of America
Future Engineers of America (FEA) is an exciting, hands-on science program filled with adventure, exploration, and skill development. Utilizing The Stony Brook School’s science and computer labs, along with trips to Long Island science education sites, FEA engages young learners in a range of fun activities that instill a desire to explore science and technology as a creative part of their life. Included are aviation and rocketry projects, physical science experiments, engineering challenge-contests, and initial computer training such as web research. The weekly schedule rotates each day so participants experience a range of other activities that include outdoor games, life-value discussions, and an exciting field trip in addition to their science activities.
