Explorers
for grades fifth to eighth
The Explorers program is a must for active campers who love the outdoors! Each day campers set out for an exciting adventure on Long Island. Typical explorations include hiking through Long Island’s state and county parks, biking on the Rocky Point or Glacier Ridge trails, canoeing the Nissoequogue, swimming at different beaches, and indoor rock climbing. Explorers need to bring a suitable mountain bike and helmet on biking days. A schedule of trips is provided at the start of each session. Children must bring their own lunch, backpack and water everyday.
