Adventure Explorers
A more rigorous version of the Explorers Program for the older or more advanced campers, the Adventurer group will embark on a 3-day, 2-night camping trip in the tri-state area. The camp is limited to 12 participants, so register early!
Each Adventure Explorer’s skills and abilities will be evaluated the first two days of the camp to ensure that he or she can maintain the more rigorous level of Adventure Explorers. Due to the off-campus nature of the program, children must bring their own lunches, backpack and water everyday. Past camping trips have included: hiking the Lemon Squeeze at Mount Mohonk in the Shawangunk Mountains, camping in Worthington State Forest in New Jersey and kayaking the Delaware Water Gap, and most recently a 30-mile canoe trip down the Delaware Water Gap where we camped alongside the river.
