Advanced Future Engineers of America

Advanced FEA builds on the science foundation that FEA established and takes enrollees to higher levels of technological development. More advanced building and programming of robots as well as leading-edge advances in science and medicine will be explored. The program also introduces the study of alternative energies – solar, wind and water – and the fundamental scientific concepts behind these technologies. Computer skills with media technologies will be introduced to and used by the students for presentations. Participants will also travel to field trip sites that relate to the projects that they are working on. Sensitive to student interest and past experience, instructors will guide the design of advanced projects to maximize student input and creativity. Balancing the day are stewardship and worldview discussions and active team-building challenges that develop leadership skills and instill a positive group spirit.
