Although I'm a day student, my sister is a boarder. I enjoy visiting her dorm--it feels like I have ten big sisters welcoming me whenever I'm there!

Visiting Stony Brook Village, especially the harbor and the Brook House

My SBS Story:
"My experience at SBS has not only put my character and academic ability to the test, but also unearthed hidden abilities that I was unaware I possessed. In seventh grade I spent a week in a Costa Rican rainforest; in eighth I competed in declamation finals despite my fear of public speaking; now in ninth grade I received a part in the school play, a feat I never imagined myself achieving. These are merely a few of the ways in which I've stepped out of my comfort zone and embraced the thriving and welcoming community of The Stony Brook School."
