Marine Programs

The Stony Brook School’s Marine Programs carries on its rich sailing tradition with Capt. John Everitt, a former SBS sailor and student (class of 2000). John Everitt has life-long experience on the water and has a passion for sharing his knowledge with others.  He and other US Sail certified instructors offer opportunities for campers who are new to the sport, and to those who are ready to compete. Whether you want to learn to drive a power boat, chart a course, or learn about your local marine environment, SBS Marine Programs has a course to meet your needs!
