Science 8
Science 8 introduces students to earth science. Topics covered include meteorology, oceanography, plate tectonics, geology (especially as it overlaps with our Social Studies units on Asia and the Pacific Islands), and astronomy. Students will continue their exposure to the scientific method of inquiry by participating in laboratory experiments, field investigations, and reports.
Please note: All courses are not taught every semester. Offerings will vary depending on enrollment, student interest and semester scheduling.
