Physical Science (Grade 10)

This course provides instruction in the fundamental skills needed to observe and interpret physical phenomena. Topics studied include characteristics and properties of matter, structure of matter, motion, light, and heat. The course fulfills the requirement of one of the three years of science and may be a prerequisite to chemistry and/ or physics. Students, however, may go directly to physics or chemistry from biology, if the Academic Office grants approval. (1 credit)
