Marine Science (Regular and Honors)
A yearlong interdisciplinary course, Marine Science includes topics in geology, astronomy, oceanography, meteorology, and marine biology, all of which relate to the world of water. Opportunity is offered for individual study and special projects. Extensive use is made of audio-visual resources, outside lecturers, the SEA WIND (a 30-foot long Alberg 30 sailing vessel), and field trips. (1 credit)
