French II
This second-year course uses a “balanced skills” approach in a more sophisticated context. Grammatical concepts learned in the first year are encountered in a fresh atmosphere, featuring both old and new vocabulary. The student further expands his or her personal vocabulary and completes free writing exercises on suggested topics. Poetry is also read for enjoyment and cultural enrichment. (1 credit)
