Ethics and Politics (Regular and Honors)
Ethics and Politics is an elective course for juniors and seniors (and sophomores with instructor’s approval) that introduces students to ethical and political ideas, their historical applications, and their relationship to economics, law, religion, and social and intellectual movements. Special emphasis will be placed on Christian ethics and civic engagement. The course will place a strong emphasis on reading primary sources and engaging in public speech and debate. To receive honors credit, students must write and present a substantial research paper during each semester. (1 credit)
