Advanced Placement Physics C (Prerequisites: AP Physics B and Calculus--may be taken concurrently)

AP Physics C is actually two college level courses in one. Mechanics is the first semester course. Electricity and Magnetism is the second semester course. Mechanics deals with kinematics; Newton’s laws of motion; work, energy, and power; systems of particles and linear momentum; circular motion and rotation; and oscillations and gravitation. Electricity and Magnetism deals with electrostatics, conductors, capacitors, dielectrics, electric circuits, magnetic fields, and electromagnetism. AP Physics C is taught with calculus as a tool for understanding physics. (1 credit)
Please note: All courses are not taught every semester. Offerings will vary depending on enrollment, student interest and semester scheduling.
