Advanced Placement Physics B (Prerequisite: Physics)

The AP Physics course is designed to be the equivalent of an introductory college course in non-calculus physics. Currently, the course emphasizes physics knowledge (phenomenology, theories & techniques, concepts, and general principles) and problem solving (ability to ask and obtain solutions to physical questions by qualitative and quantitative reasoning as well as experimental investigations.) The qualities of curiosity and skepticism are fostered and an effort is made to encourage understanding in how physics connects to other disciplines. (1 credit)
Please note: All courses are not taught every semester. Offerings will vary depending on enrollment, student interest and semester scheduling.
