Advanced Placement Environmental Science

The AP Environmental Science course is designed to be the equivalent of an introductory college course in environmental science. The goal of the course is to provide students with the specific scientific principles, concepts, and methodologies required to understand the interrelationships of the natural world. Further, students identify and analyze environmental problems both natural and human-made, evaluate the risks associated with these problems, and examine alternative solutions for resolving or preventing environmental degradation as we seek to be good stewards of the Earth.
