THE STONY BROOK SCHOOL BOYS' VARSITY CROSS COUNTRY TEAM

The Stony Brook Boys Cross Country team has led a great season. Earning All-League honors are James Jenden (Saudi Arabia), Carlo Masakayan (Setauket), and Joshua Kim (Flushing). Award winners for finishing in the top 10 of the Section XI County Class 'D' Championships were Jenden and Masakayan. Jenden also earned All-Division honors for Section XI Division IV.

Four members of the boys' team qualified to run the 5k course at the NYSPHSAA Cross Country Championships in Plattsburgh. The boys raced to their best times of the season and personal records, showing their hard work has paid off. Jenden (17:57.5) finished first for the Bears. Next in were Masakayan (18:59.3), Kim (19:16.7), and Jeffery Zheng (China, 19:38.9).

Congratulations to the Bears on a terrific cross country season!
