CAMPUS CRUSADER AND AUTHOR TO SPEAK
AT THE STONY BROOK SCHOOL

Campus Crusade speaker and author, Randy Newman, will speak at The Stony Brook School, 1 Chapman Parkway, Stony Brook in Carson Auditorium on Wednesday, November 19, 2008, at 11:10 a.m until 11:50 a.m. The event is free and open to the public. Call (631) 751-1800 for additional information.

Randy Newman has worked with Campus Crusade since 1980. He currently serves with the Academic Initiative Team, that works with university professors. Newman speaks throughout the nation to students, professors, and policy-shapers. During this time he has also taught many seminars on evangelism and had numerous conversations concerning the gospel.

Newman also serves as the director of Research and Development for the Washington, D.C. Special Projects Team. His teaching responsibilities have included serving with the Chaplain's Office at the Pentagon. He speaks weekly at the Pentagon for Campus Crusade's Christian Embassy, which is made up of officers and civilians.

Newman has also authored numerous articles and books, including "Questioning Evangelism: Engaging People's Hearts the Way Jesus Did" and "Corner Conversations: Engaging Dialogues about God and Life," both published by Kregel Publications. Randy is a Jewish Believer in Jesus and is the former editor of The Messiah-On-Campus Bulletin.

Newman obtained a degree in music education and graduated with honors from Temple University. He also has a Masters of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

Newman currently resides in Annandale, Virginia together with his wife Pam and their three sons. He enjoys jazz, classical music, cooking, and watching his sons play soccer and basketball.
