INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL HELD AT THE STONY BROOK SCHOOL

This winter, The Stony Brook School held its 17th Annual International Festival. It was a week focused on the cultures of students at The Stony Brook School. The Festival continued all week with an international menu in the Johnston Hall Dining Room. SAGE Food services prepared food of several ethnic cuisines.

The week began with an International Chapel service. The service included Chinese and Korean music as well as students reading Scripture in 20 different languages, representing almost half the world's population. Guest speaker, Mr. Mako Nagasawa, a graduate of Stanford University who works with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at Boston College and Tufts University, spoke on "The Role of Jesus in Revolution and the Pursuit of Justice."
